Coolest Hallelujah flash mob - must see! The Good Earth
Singers www.youtube.com
A flash mob Hallelujah Chorus organized by the Good Earth
Singers, a global grassroots movement that is using the
power of singing to heal the planet. Everyone on earth is a
member of The Good Earth Singers and we are inviting
everyone to sing to heal the earth. Join the One Song. One
Planet.
I set an event for the Good Earth Singers Hallelujah flash
mob meet-up for a Hallelujah performance in Burlington, VT,
even though it was necessarily a quite local gathering. The
Good Earth Singers are early in a campaign to gather
millions to sing together.
The event was set for two hours beginning at 12 noon local
time. I have not learned exactly when the singing occurred,
but it probably was between 12:45 and 1:00.
The result is Chisquare 7065.115 on 7200, for p = 0.870 and
Z = -1.126.
It is important to keep in mind that we have only a tiny
statistical
effect, so that it is always hard to distinguish signal from
noise. This means that every "success" might be largely
driven by chance, and every "null" might include a real
signal overwhelmed by noise. In the long run, a real effect
can
be identified only by patiently accumulating replications of
similar analyses.
